This 3-day Selous safari from Zanzibar offers a perfect mix of wildlife exploration and scenic adventure. After a short flight from Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve, you’ll enjoy an exciting game drive upon arrival, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Selous Kinga Lodge. The second day is dedicated to a full day of exploration, including game drives, a boat safari, or a guided nature walk with a ranger. On the final day, after breakfast and optional morning activities, you’ll transfer back to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar, concluding a memorable bush escape.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar - Selous

Transfer to Zanzibar Airport and board your 07:45 hrs Coastal Air to Selous Game Reserve,
arriving 09:15 hrs OR by Auric Air 08:05 hrs to Selous Game Reserve, arriving 08:55 hrs.
You will be met by our driver-guide upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip and drive to
the lodge for check-in. You will begin your game drive including a picnic lunches
followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Selous

Full day in Selous with morning and afternoon game viewing in Selous, you will have boat safari or
nature walk with a ranger in lieu of a game drive. End of the day return to the
lodge for dinner and overnights once more.

Day 3: Selous - Zanzibar

After a leisurely breakfast, and perhaps morning activities transfer to Mtemere Airstrip for your
flight to Zanzibar on Coastal Air departing at 09:15 and arriving at 11:20 hrs
or 12:50-14:50 hrs.
OR by Auric Air 10:15 hrs, arriving 11:50 hrs. or 16:50-17:40 hrs.
