Tanzania is famous for its diverse wildlife and spectacular landscapes. Inside the country’s
22 National Parks, you’ll find 20% of Africa’s large mammal population and incredible
experiences like the Great Wildebeest Migration and Jane Goodall’s chimpanzee research in
Gombe National Park.
Tanzania’s defining natural attraction is Mount Kilimanjaro. One of the Seven Summits, the
mountain dominates the landscape and is home to five different climate zones. Further afield, the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is the largest intact caldera in
the world and one of the best places to see the Big 5 in Tanzania.
