Booking & Payment Terms

BOOKINGS

  • A 40% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

  • An additional 30% is due one month before your arrival in Tanzania.

  • The remaining 30% can be paid in cash (USD notes dated 2006 or later) upon arrival in Tanzania, or two weeks before arrival via other accepted methods.

PAYMENT METHODS
We offer the following options for your convenience:
  1. International Bank Wire Transfer

    • Please ensure the final bank account name, account number, SWIFT code, address, and correspondent bank details are clearly mentioned when transferring funds.

    • Bank transfers typically take 1 to 3 business days to reach our USD account.

  2. Online Payments (Visa and MasterCard)

    • We accept Visa and MasterCard payments with a 3.5% bank surcharge. Payment details will be shared upon request.

  3. Cash Payments

    • We accept USD or EURO cash upon arrival (only USD notes issued in 2006 or later are accepted).


Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to King of Africa Safaris & Trekking Ltd. Cancellation fees apply depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made:

  • 60 to 30 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee (charged by hotels/lodges).

  • 29 to 15 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.

  • Less than 14 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations 70 days or more before departure: Eligible for a refund, minus a $150 administrative fee and any applicable bank charges.


Tour Itinerary Alterations

King of Africa Safaris & Trekking reserves the right to adjust or modify itineraries when necessary due to flight schedule changes, transportation issues, security concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.


Accommodations

While we strive to keep accommodations as originally planned, changes may occur due to unforeseen situations. In such cases, alternative arrangements of similar quality will be made.


Special Requests

Please inform us at the time of booking if you have any special requirements, such as:

  • Adjacent or connecting rooms

  • Smoking or non-smoking rooms

  • Dietary restrictions or meal preferences

We will do our best to accommodate these requests, but they cannot be guaranteed.


Refunds for Incomplete Trips

If you are unable to complete the trip due to illness, family emergency, or other personal reasons, we will attempt to secure refunds for unused services such as park entry fees or fuel costs. For accommodations, refunds from hotels or lodges will be requested, but cannot be guaranteed.
